from what i heard from up top, the new tc and going to be very close to the fuse design. the major differences include the rear-b-pillar in the prototype is very blinding so that was cut down a bit, and not as much technology. as far as the engine and drivetrain, expect another 4 cylinder but after that, im not sure!

hmmm, some say the Fuse is the new car. I find it funny that this had come up in a japanese publication. my wife transliated the article and it said this was to be the new Scion design. also possible to be the new JDM Celica. other than "Fuse"ing the Camry more into the tC. I'd say this is it. Or would it be weird if we got a version of some othe JDM car like the 2nd gen xB? and the tC goes Japan only as the Celica?? We'll have to wait and see
I've posted this before and got tired of the " it looks like the Accord" comments. Maybe it looks lke the Civic. Maybe it doesn't matter... Looks better than the current model...

yeah, get mixed reviews. but so did the xB2 and xD. as a matter of fact, all the Scions get mixed reviews including the bogus thumbs down I occasionally get. but no one thumbs down the tC's!

After reading through this thread, I can't decide if I want to lock it (is that guy done with his research yet? i might have missed it mixed in with all of the "more power" and "lsd" and "hids" crap).

I do know one thing... a LOT of people can't read to save their damn lives.

^^^ in that picture, from a-pillar back it looks like the same car... the front end does kinda look like an accord, mainly in the headlights... I don't see why they would go to a reflector style housing after just going to projector. I like the foglights! :D

so for those that hate this look your in luck. this car is the new Celica. Not for sale in the U.S. shame cuz now the tC will have sick engine choices. pity. now all you current tC owners can drool over the awesome stuff we can't get for this car.

Better Suspension & More Power! Those to me seem to be the worst on the tC.

How about better gas efficieny too! My tC barely gets 21-23 mpg.

I second the drive by wire. Toyota needs to pay a visit to Germany to learn how to refine that ish...
