Next Generation tC
Well idk if anyone has heard that scion/Toyota bought a lot of Subaru and we heard that it might be a limited production of some sti inspired TC’s meaning AWD or RWD with the Tc body still… But that’s what we were told at HIN chi-town from a lady high up in the scion corporation so don’t yell and saying bu** **** to me I don’t want to hear it it’s just what I heard
--More bolstered seats
--6th Gear
--TRD Turbo option (they did it on Supras they know how to turbo cars)
--HID Projectors
--LSD
--Stronger Sway Bars
--White / Color Changable Gauges/HVAC
--Heated Seats/Steering Wheel/ Mirrors
--Power Seats
--Lumbar Support
--TRD Package Option - Up the price a few grand and the car will blow away SI's for the same price. IMO Package should include a LSD, Supercharger/Turbo, Coilovers, Short Shifter, Sport Muffler, Strut Bar (all of which Scion offers as options)
--Perhaps offer the Package in stages ie:
Stage 1= Muffler, Intake, Short Shifter
Stage 2= Muffler, Intake, Short Shifter, LSD, Coilovers, Strut Bar
Stage 3= Supercharger/Turbo, Muffler, Short Shifter, LSD, Coilovers, Strut Bar
Just because some things won't be cost efficient for an economy car to come with, it doesn't mean they can't be offered as options for people willing to spend a little more.

-tighter suspension. don't lower it, some people (read: me) sometimes bottom out, but at least decent stock sway bars. the body roll is ridiculous. you can tell from looking at my tires.
-a dealer option, along the lines of the under-dash lights, where you can choose the color of the dash lights, radio lights, cubby hole light, etc. I can't imagine why it would be difficult to ship dealers parts with different colored LEDs in them, and if I can change the combination meter with my hands and one screw, it shouldn't be a problem if we pay a dealer to do the same.
-5 speed AT. I agree that the engine running at a higher RPM in high gear is generally a good thing, but passing 3k average every time I'm on the highway is pushing it (although I do have to say, unless I'm halfway to redline I feel like I'm not using any gas at all.)
-a TRD supercharger that's priced correctly for its power delivery
-larger stock pedals
-dealer HID option
-LSD
-passenger seat memory, my passengers aren't annoyed by it, but frankly I have a bit of OCD and have become very good at adjusting a seat I'm not currently occupying after someone leaves the car.
-less squeaks
-fix that problem that makes me hear every single pebble I run over fly around in my wheelwell
probably more, but that's it for now.

-A throttle cable would make my day.
-Give us the motor mounts off the Toyota Camry, seriously.
-Stock shifter bushings get a little rough sometimes.
-Stopping is pretty important so a better brake system would be awesome.
-Too many road vibrations from the clutch, brake, and gas pedals.
-The clear coat is way too thin. Kills our re-sale value and makes us look like we don't take care of our cars.
you know, i would post a bunch of different things about the next gen tc but in all reality, we all know it will be more of the same. just a larger car with a slightly bigger motor. thats what they did the the xa, xd. i bet you can go through the 100+ pieces of advice and only 10 or less will be on the new tc. maybe im just being to harsh of a realist but its prob. true!
6spd manual and 6 speed or at least 5 speed automatic w/ paddle shifters.
2.7L engine
-no squeaks and rattles
-HID projectors
-different tires from factory BSTNE's suck
-digital speedometer ( w/ RPM's in middle) like RX-8,
-heated and electronic folding side mirrors

less weight, 6 speed with the gearing we have now, more rpm to play with. lsd and sleaved block better windshield and a harder clear coat, rwd
factory turbo with a evo 16g 10psi
i could see 240-260 whp out of this stock would be a fun car fast spooling and could easily make over 320whp on stock turbo
would run 21-24k
maybe they could do this and make it a TC-XRS
offer the baby model with the 6 speed , lsd

6spd
factory leather or alacantra suede option
factory projectors with possible hid's
less squeaks and rattles
trd turbo at 10 psi
tighter suspension
rwd option
lets be honest if scion has to keep it under 20, there is not much they can do. if there willing to go past the twenty mark they could sell a nice car like hotcakes. ie, the sti, evo, cobalt ss, civic si.

Well if you are still taking suggestions, a full gauge cluster. Oil pressure, temperature, volts. I concur with the 6spd, one touch sun roof, and telescopic wheel. HID capable projectors and red white tail lights(not of the altezza persuasion). Lighting should flow with the body-line. Power is fine, the car could be a little lighter though. I really enjoyed the way my sisters xB handled verses my tC. Go back to the egg-crate style grills. The dot grill is hideous. The seats could be lower to the floor.
Have the tC setup like the mini cooper...
You have the stock tC, then you can have a list of options such as:
HID projector headlights
Lowering Springs
Sport Tuned Exhaust
Short Throw Shifter
Coilovers
Brake Upgrade
Wheel Selection
Tail light option (such as TYC's)
Lip kit option
LSD
Radio upgrades (like navigation, etc)
Interior options (i.e. suede, leather, etc.)
Then make a tC-t
Comes standard with a Turbo engine (updated 3sgte anyone?)
Standard with lowering springs, bigger brake setup, short throw, cat back exhaust, LSD, Boost gauge, Seat upgrade, and tC-t doorsills or some accents/markings to make it distinct from the other model.
Options like different wheels, coilovers, lip kit, HID projectors, etc. can be added at an additional charge.
Have the first tC running along the same price as the current ones are, and the tC-t around the same price as the cobalt SS ($21-23k range). Would be a great car, and I would buy the tC-t in a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am sure there are a lot of options that I left out, but you get the idea!
