so i just hooked up a ps2 in my car from a power invert and i put it in my car but i am getting a noise out of the speakers like high pitch noise how do i correct that please let me know what you think thank you very much.

 

Get a ground loop isolator -- about $20 at radio shack

 

Yep, the switching portion and the AC signal are bleeding into the sound system. Try an isolator and make sure all of your connections are good and that your grounds are good and in good places.
