Noticed a cool hiss sound when shifting
I was driving today without any music and I noticed a quick hiss sound after every shift. What is that? If this is normal, then I love it. It sounds cool. I never noticed this riding in my friend's Civic SI.

If you take off the air box, turn on the car in a non-dusty environment (such as a clean garage), give it a rev or two then you will know if it's a throttle body. (BTW not recommended, I'd never start my car without an air filter)
My educated guess is that its because of the throttle body, since it only happens when I shift, and it makes the noise because its the sound of the air rushing in after the butterfly on the TB initially opens. If it were the airbox, it would should make that sound all the time.
My GF thought it was funny when she first heard it.... reminded her of the BOV on my SRT.... I dont see how she thinks that...oh well
