odometer reading at purchase
Hey guys,
Should be picking up my tC before the month is over. When you purchased your tC, how many miles did it have on the odometer? From the forums, most people seemed to have about less than 4 miles on the odometer at time of purchase.
I really don't want others (dealerships/techs) messing with my car before I buy it. What mileage would you deem as unacceptable for a brand new tC that has already been spoken for? Anything more than 5-7 miles? Thanks!

heck of a feeling seeing that on there, and I should've gotten a picture of it but I didn't have a camera with me and the dealership is over 15 miles away, so i said forget it and spent a lot of miles learning stick
now it's got over 1000 miles and it's in the shop getting repaired (somebody did a hit and run in the parking lot while I was at work... it'll never get old venting that) and when I get it back I'm going to take it to the dealer and get the oil changed to synthetic, take it home and baby it with the neglected waxing then next time it's out I'm gonna beat it to hell and back
(or not, I miss my poor baby... P.S.: driving a rental 2003 Dodge Stratus SE and it SUCKS)

if you are there when the pull it off the trailer, it should have 1mi.
but if you wait, they are required to give you a full tank of gas and will drive it to the local gas station and back (picking up lunch on the way)...
my car had 1mi when it came off the truck.
i drove it putting on 5mi.
then when i took delivery it had 7mi...

take it home and baby it with the neglected waxing
give it time to fully cure before waxing...
