mine had 1, but it was right off the truck (that plastic crap was still all over it), so the dealership had to prep it or whatever. when i drove off the lot it had like 15 miles. go figure.

 

i bought some other new cars, and they had 25-30 miles on them..
it is nice to get one as low as we do. (it a peace of mind thing...)

 

I had 3 miles on mine, and not even a month of owning it, my car was hit in the parking lot while I was at work, by someone who I work with to top it off!!!!! No one knows who did it, they didnt even leave a name or anything. I just got it back the other day, after a week and a half of being in the shop. Looks just like new 490 dollars later though. =( They didnt give me a rental though, which is kinda suprising....I think they got me on that.

 

1 Mile. It was a beautiful site, worth framing. Forgot my camera though, dangit, but did take a picture of it when I hit 1K and 5K. Guess the next major mileage is 100K. Wonder how long til someone reaches that.

Getting from Japan to Chicago (or anywhere in the US) with that few miles is pretty good

Factory>onto a truck>onto a boat>off the boat>onto a train>off the train>onto a truck>off the truck to the dealership>moving the car around the lot as needed(in/out of service bay, back and forth from parking area, etc.)

The fact that they can do all that with as few miles as they do, is pretty good

mine had 2 off the truck..then 4 after the tech did the check list and filled it w/gas..i talked with a guy at work who is also a service writer at one of our two Scion dealers...he told me the techs at his dealership beat the holy hell out new model cars to see what they're made of...and he couldn't wait until my car came in and that they'd leave a little rubber on the tires for me when they got done...he was completely serious about it...i ended up getting my tC from the other dealer...i feel bad for the dude that bought the other one(i heard what they did to it)...then again...i have no proof the tech that prepped my car wasn't a complete a--hole with it either...guess that's what you get for ordering the first two tCs in the area..by now the techs probably have their jollies out of their systems with the tC.
