I got pulled over for my TRD exhaust. It was late at night and I guess the officer had nothing better to do.

He came up to me and said "I see you have an aftermarket muffler there" and then I told him no it's from the factory that way and even says toyota (trd) on it.. HAHA. He looked for anything else to give me a ticket for but I have everything legal on my car. He said after "alright just drive safely now" lol.

edit- i didn't get a ticket.

 

Only 1 ticket in the tC (so far?!?), speeding 40 in a 25, caught in an ambush speedtrap by a motorcycle cop who was hiding in a driveway and wasn't even on his bike, he just walked right out into the road and stood in front of my car to get me to stop. I think that was 3yrs ago.

No way I can list all the tickets I've had, probably can't even remember them all, considering I got my license over 30yrs ago.

 

court date set for tomorrow. . .

taking off the tint is definately not an option and paying the $250 ticket is a pretty penny, but im gonna show up in my brothers xA and say that my car is in the shop and hopefully make some sort of arrangements

 

0 tickets with my 08. Pulled over twice. Once for making a legal u-turn as the light turned yellow. Since I had to go so slow around the turn, it turned red as I started accelerating the other way, and the cop was at the light behind me (behind as in, just got green), he let me go. And once for pulling out of a parking lot too fast. I had been sitting there for well over 3 minutes waiting to go with the cop on the other side, basically watching me, so I said ____ it and went. He just asked if he knew why he pulled me over, so I said "I pulled out too fast?" and he just said "Yup, take it easy next time."

Haven't had any moving violations with the tC. Got a ticket for 82 in a 65 in my old car, 1 window tint ticket and 1 warning for my stereo being too loud. In the tC I have been pulled over 3 times for window tint and got 2 tickets.

 

I was very lucky to get out of a Ticket on my Bike for going 105 in a 65 at 11pm, becuase the Trooper that pulled me over knew my Uncle who was his Commading Officer.

 

pos i know taking off the tint "wasn't" and option but what the hell. . .$20 to get it dismissed isn't bad. . .now my windows look fugly with the adhesive still on. . .time to call my friend to redo my tint

 

lol yea 20 bucks plus what if a friend does ur tint 50 bucks maybe... even if i had someone do my tint 140 + 20 vs 220 nice turn out.
