Default the one thing i wish the tC had

i have been driving my tC for four days. great all around for the 16k price tag and features are great. much better then the xB. i know this is small, but i think it could really help and that is having a hook on the seat that holds the seat belt near the seat. i hope i explained that right. the seat belt seems to be farther back then in a normal car and out off all the cars i have owned in my life (approx. 10 so far). that is just a little adjustment i think that can help. i know most people always ask for a bigger engine or a 6-speed tranny, but i am trying to be realistic

I found instead of reaching over your left shoulder with your right hand...it's easier to use your left and reach down between the seat and the door... I hope this makes sense...

that does make sence. I will try that method because I have noticed the same problem.

one thing I wish the tC had was a telescoping steering wheel.

I agree with the wheel. I have long legs so I have to reach a bit for the wheel.

Some James Bond-style missiles behind the headlights would rock during rush hour. Or maybe a Humvee 30mm assault cannon.

You know, that little hook/clip looking thing above the window in the backseat...... ooookay, I feel dumb now. But really, what else would you use it for?

if the seatbelt was hooked to the seat, you'd have to squeeze around it to get into the backseat

I've been itchy to buy a LSD.. but installation and parts would cut deeper than I would like in my "Turbo Timmy's tC" Foundation of America Member FDIC

Not even that the seatbelt is too far back... but doesn't it sit a bit to high? Like its almost hitting you in the neck. They should have made it adjustable down and up if you know what i mean. And the hole for change (well thats what i use it for) should have been rounded. its almost impossible to take a dime out that mother.

I agree with you 100%. For me, it not only sits too high on my neck, but it sits too high across the lap. I didn't have this problem with my first tC... it fit me much better. I actually tuck the belt underneath the seat height adjustment lever so it sits a little lower across my lap, but it still rides up.

i felt the same way, that the seatbelt was too far back...but after a week and a half, i haven't noticed it at all, and i've had my car since feb. it's wierd, i can get in and out of the car and buckle up without even thinking about it...and i don't remember doing it at all anymore, it's like i do it, but it's so routine that i block it out
