I agree with the wheel. I have long legs so I have to reach a bit for the wheel.
Definitely telescopic. My arms get tired from extending it almost straight because I have long legs. Long trips are very tiring, so now i just hold the steering wheel at the very bottom.
i think my my first post here after getting the car was about not being able to get comfortable in the seat in relation to the wheel, etc., i've since found that just coming a bit closer and taking out my wallet, all is well.

all i want is the air conditioning vents to be directional enough to aim them at me instead of almost being able to do so.

Comfort? How can you be comfortable with that dawggone bell goin' off tellin' you that your belt ain't fastened??
turn it off. (from icdedppl's faq):

"how do i enable/disable the seatbelt reminder buzzer noise using the trip meter button?
to enable/disable that annoying seatbelt reminder buzzer, follow these steps using the trip meter button, but make sure you still buckle up!:

step 1 turn the key to the 'on' position. using the trip meter button, toggle the lcd until 'ODO' is displayed.
step 2 turn the key off. turn the key back to the 'on' position. within six seconds of doing so, press and hold the trip meter button for ten seconds. after ten seconds, buckle the driver's side seatbelt.
step 3 the buzzer by default is set to on. once you've held the trip meter button for ten seconds and then buckled the driver's side seatbelt, the lcd will then disply 'b-OFF', telling you that the buzzer is now turned off. you can now let go of the trip meter button. if pressed again in this mode, you will set the buzzer back to on, 'b-ON'.
*note* if the battery or combination meter is disconnected, you will have to follow the procedure again."

All it really needs, and I'm sure this has been mentioned before is a twin turbo V12... not sure why Scion didn't at least make this an option....

Honestly, the only thing that I could possibly want is....

Power Seats. I was comparing my brother's Honda Accord coupe to the Scion, and it's the only thing I don't have that he has (excluding the much large engine).

Also completely useless think the Scion tC should have is being able to roll my windows down remotely.

Passenger seat memory! I hate having to put the seat back manually each time someone gets in the back seat.

Ha... the direction the vents blow the air ____ me off too. It's like I'm almost closing them to get the air to blow on me.

heh... I hear ya on the stoopidly small coat-hanger hooks...but if ya read the manual (at least, for those with side-curtain airbags), they actually say not to put any hangers on there, and that you should just put the jacket or whatever there on its own. That's so if the airbags have to deply, you don't get hangers flyin' around like missiles aimed at your head.

Still would like bigger hooks, though.

On the other hand, having been shown the light on being short-sighted...

...I think my answer's gonna be SassyScion. Passenger's seat, driver's seat, back seat, wherever she wants to be.
:-)

AND she's even got good taste evidenced by the color of her tC.

Noway, rear wipers are nasty looking.

I agree with the coin holder though, I almost crash at every toll.

Also, when is someone gonna come out with a replacement for the hatch cover. My stock one doesnt work at all. It never stays in the hooks and always rattles around. sigh.

Well some of the things I would like Scion to offer for the TC are:
1. Navigation System
2. H.I.D headlights
3. LSD or 6-spd (tied)
5. Better tires

Damn, I was just about to say smaller blind spots...then I saw your post.

But in reality, in my less than a day of driving it:

-- Smaller Blind Spots
-- 'Mute' and 'Text' buttons on steering wheel controls
-- One of those red light changers that emergency vehicles have

Wish it had HID's too. this car would be perfect if that was an option IMO.

lol. This is a great thread:

1. Seatbelts...No, I've been in plenty of other people's cars that didn't have the little hook thing to keep it upfront. My roommate's Eclipse, my friend's Celica., my boss' Camaro convertible (before she got rid of it for a Beamer 3-series...BORING). I think it's just a thing w/ 2-door coupes.

2. Coat hooks. I agree with that...the things are too damn small. I'm having to hang my drycleaning on both hooks and still can't hold it all. Then I hang it off the back of the seats using the headrest bars. Or maybe I should throw my dirty clothes away and buy new ones.

My complaints:

3. No radio controls on the steering wheel... which they added for the 06 model!! Damn it!! It's ok though, I like my RS1.0. I'd rather have that than radio controls

4. XM satellite. I want Sirius damn it. Howard Stern rules.

5. I don't like the dash's 'textured' surface. Tiny raised areas only mean it's that much harder to clean

6. Arm rest, front dash and glove compartment aren't big enough.

7. Can you tell I'm trying really hard to find something wrong?

8. Amber lighting

9. Um... No little 'beeping' sound when you lock the doors to confirm they are locked

10. Hmm. Doesn't have dinner ready when I come home...tells me how she's going to leave me because "It jus' ain't right to be slappin' me 'round like that". Oh wait. Nevermind.

lol. I love my tc. Actually, I am amazingly...um, amazed on how much my affection for this car grows everyday. And to think, I almost bought a used 2003 Mustang GT instead.
