Default Ordered my tC yesterday! The wait begins...

05 Flint Mica 5spd - 4 weeks (dealer time), forever (my time)

I'm gonna go ahead and get the trd short shifter and struts, springs and sway bar so they can install it when it comes in. Its also getting 20% tint when it comes in. I also told them that if they drilled holes in the front bumper for a license plate that I would flip out and start chopping limbs off.

I didn't want to wait for the 06s to get in because the only thing they are changing doesn't concern me. (and I'm very impatient) I plan on installing my sound system from my maxima: alpine9835 deck and infiniti kappa perfect components. My two 12 type r's won't fit so I'll have to figure out something for my subs.

Anyway...I'm glad to be a part of the crew now. I promised myself I wouldn't rice it out or do anything stupid to the tC like I did with my maxima. So if I do you guys have permission to give me a swift kick to the nuts.

best thing to do is get in talks with a bunch of dealers and basically whoever gets you the car the fastest you buy from. i had 2 deposits down at one point, and it would've been more but one of them got it to me within a week.

I ordered mine six days ago. Long terrible days with hopefully few ahead. Anyways, good luck. Use those days to work hard and make some $$$ to pay for stuff to add to your car when it arrives.

I got so lucky. They had a flint mica right there on the lot with 11 miles, side airbags. Took me 2 hours to get the car.

I finally got word yesterday that I'm getting my car before Friday. I've been waiting since the beginning of March though......

Where did you get your car from? I also bought my 5-speed FM off the lot (although I didn't get to take it home until the next morning because of insurance BS). I worked with Brian at Camelback Scion.

i wanted to work with Camelback, but I wanted to work with Mark, and when I went in on Saturday, he wasn't around, and the people there ignored me until i walked out the door.

i went up to Right, and they should be getting an auto FM around the 28th.

oddly enough, both claim to be very high on the Scion nationwide sales charts. is the valley a hotspot for scions? (i see a lot of boxes, rarely see an xA, and have seen 4 or 5 tCs).

(oh, and don't knock the auto, i drove stick in rush hour for the last 6 years, time to relax while driving).

I got my car from Right Toyota/Scion on Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. in Scottsdale.

Check out the Desert and Salt forum here. There is a lot of action here in AZ.
