Default Ordering TC from Scion Website?

I was thinking of ordering just a base model with where it comes out to 16515with the delievery charge, i know probably their will a couple of more fees like documentation and etc...but will the overall price i pay be close to what it said on the website? and how long does deliever take to get to the dealership. And with my understanding of pure price, that would be the preice i would pay and the dealer won't try be shady and add things to bring up the cost? thanks

I can only answer part of your question.

The base price of the car can not be negotiated, nor is the dealer allowed to throw in "freebies". That being said, the dealer will probably try like hell to have you purchase additional accesories, mods, etc.

u pay document fee and licence and all the crap.. but other that that, the price should be whats posted on the website. the base model is hard to find though. the car will at least have floor mats which is $145, no biggie though.

mine came with 6-disc cd changer and floor mats, but it was the closest to the base model i could find without waiting 4-6 weeks for one.

They tried to put floor mats in mine.
BS, they tried some lame excuse like once the car left the factory they had to be sold with the car.
I told them I wouldn't buy the car with em and they removed em. I may be cheap but the $20 set of rubber mats work just as well as the $145 ones Scion has. Plus I don't care if I spill/get stuff on the $20 ones!

You'll still have sales tax etc...
If you do financing, the total will be somewhere around 21K

the price is the price. the dealer wants to add accessories because they make the money there, especially ones that are not scion, i.e., leather seats, aftermarket wheels, etc. just stick to your guns and say thanks but no thanks. it took me honestly a month to find a vehicle that had what i didn't want not what i wanted. but in ca, we generally have to add 10% to the base price for tax, license, doc, etc. (it'll probably come out closer to 8% to 9% but just to be safe) plus financing.
