Some states are legal some states are not.. here in Oregon. Perfectly legal .

But my suggestion would be... learn to shift :-P. Haha just kidding. I don't know. I've never had any problems in my '09 . I've driven in dress shoes, work boots, flip flops, barefoot, tennis shoes... it's all the same. Ever try driving in snowboard or ski boots? now THAT is hard.

In regular tennis shoes, I've mastered it. Off centered to the right plus learning this new clutch engagement is all it takes.

Now, with the work shoes. All I can do is the off-center thing. It helps alot. And next time I just wont get chunky rubber shoes.

im pretty sure driving with-out shoes is in fact illegal. My dress shoes clip the brake when I hit the gas. I just drive with my foot on an angle, I don't wear dress shoes often....

Hmm.. We might have the same shoe. Sketcher's leather low top w/ a boot tread?

The rare times I drive with em, I keep my left heel off the carpet entirely and only engage the pedals with the front 1/3 of my foot. Works well enough, or buy some thin italian style wingtips instead

So you signed and agreed to contracts before you ever got to test drive the 'actual' vehicle.

Yes. On a used car, stupid. On a new car, okay.

Wow. Your ignorance is overwhelming.

Yao Ming was to represent "Asian", not Japanese. I have several Japanese friends as I am FAR more intelligent and culturally aware than the stereotypical Kentuckian. I speak German, French, some Italian, and am in the process of learning Japanese.

Careful on those stereotypes and instant personality judgments, chief.

Wow, I'm Japanese and I wasn't offended by the OP's thread and I'm sure he wasn't trying to offend anyone either.

Well, 10.5 isn't big. I wear 12-13, depending on the brand.

OP, did you ever think of possibly getting new pedal covers? I have the OBX covers and the only time I've ever had trouble with slipping, is when my KSwiss shoes are wet. Any other shoes in any other condition and I'm fine.

I bought my 05 without test driving it, hell I had never even sat in one prior to buying it.
