Pedal issues with my 09 tc
I had this problem with my aftermarket sparco pedals.
i wear sandels EVERY day of my life. and when it rains, they are so slippery underneath, that sometimes i have slipped on the clutch.
now what i do is just bring a pair of tennis shoes to drive in when it's wet outside. solves my problem. plus now that i live in AZ and not PA anymore, it rains like 3 days out of the year. lol

im not reading all three pages of this.
i cant drive in some of my shoes either (certain skate shoes are to fat and my Nike Shox are horrible, idk why)
id recommend just keeping an extra pair of driving shoes in the trunk and changing shoes b4 u have to drive.
i use The Goodyear Addidas, they are flat footed and fairly narrow so theyre great for driving.
you can get them an pretty much any mall, check at Journeys or other shoe store.
fairly inexpensive too compared to other name brand racing shoes.

I used to have that problem, but only on automatics, strangley. I'm 5'8" and average size. I have a size 11.5 shoe. I used to wear skater shoes, but I'm now starting to wear tennis shoes. With my skater shoes I didn't really have the problem - maybe that's becuase I had my foot at a slight angle. Now I have adidas sneakers which are a lot thinner and I have no problem. I only have problems driving with sandals on - then I go barefoot.

Barefoot, or with socks on, is the way to go. Especially to get better gas mileage because you have much better pedal feel and can modulate the gas more accurately.
I don't have my car yet, but I test drove one and didn't encounter this problem. I had more of a problem with it when I occasionally drove my mom's Expedition. I'm 6'4" with size 13. I also wore skate shoes which are clunkier than tennis shoes. I don't know how they compare to dress shoes.
