After anyone putting this spoiler on

those people don't know tc will think it is from pontiac and the 2 door version of g6

please do not put that crap on your car

rather put that civic looking spoiler nice and clean, people just complain bc it is on civic IF IT IS on TC it is whole different story

I wouldn't put the OEM Pedestal on if they paid me, but the spoilter depot one is completely diffeernt. It's clean, and I'm still trying to decide if I want to spend the money.

Why complain about a factory over priced spoiler add on? Personalized your own ride. Scion is not saying you should get this.

If you want a spoiler on your tC go with Lip. Not the factory lip.

These older Gen Toyota's have better lip spoilers than the tC. :? :D
Older Gen TRD Corolla with Lip

Gen 1 Solara w/Lip

Maybe go WideBody kit with DTM racing style wings.

i wonder how this type of spoiler would look on the tC, but

if it started near the upper side of rear taillight area and continued to the rear hatch line the like the picture below.

We parked it beside another tC with the lip spoiler

Now that I see it next to the lip spoiler, I DEFINATELY like the pedestal spoiler better then the lip spoiler. The one from Spoiler Deopt is nice too, but I think the pedestal spoiler has more character.

I still prefer no spoiler at all. I don't think there is enough room on the back of the hatch for one. Plus, with the slant of the rear glss, I think it would hinder visibility.

What might be interesting is a roof spoiler, like they have for the VW GTI's and Focus's. How do you think that would look?

Is it just me or the angles of the pictures, but does the color look a little off on the spoiler compared to the car?

I thought the colors matched-They are factory anyway. I guess its different if you see it in person versus the camera. Scion stated that there were possibly going to be 3 spoilers. Like it or not the next step is an even bigger spoiler if Scion continues with the plan. As far as the lip spoiler, and I saw everyones responses, is it me or does it need to extend farther back and maybe a little upwards. I would appreciate any input, I have a meeting this week with the company that produces the spoiler and body kit for the tC. If any one has any realistic (think manufacturer tolerences and specs) ideas for a body kit that you would like Scion to produce-shoot it over.

I like the kit in the "Action Package" for the Celilca. I never thought Toyota would come up with something that drastic. I like the wing on that kit as well.

pre 05 action package or 05 action package?

And by the way what would you guys like to see if the current body kit for the tC was to be changed or improved. I'd like to see an all new fascia with bigger/deeper lower intakes and grilles-more Skyline GTR like, the side skirts are too small, as well as the rear valance.

Let us all know-I let the company producing the spoiler and body kits to watch this thread. If all goes well they'll pitch adn updated body kit to Scion by SEMA.

Yup I agree with you about the body kit. My salesperson even commented that it's too subtle. As for the spoiler, I personally would like one that is styled similar to the G35 like fr130 posted.

blah, blah, blah

IMO, all 3 spoilers are nice for factory fit finishes. All ,(except for the pedstal spoiler) are a bit to "generic" for my taste. So I've opted for a nice after market carbon fiber spoiler.
