Hello,


Well this is more for the people that show there cars. So, what is more important having performance mods or having bright led lights.

Personally, I hate all the LED lights because it look tacky.. Basically you make your scion look like a xmas tree. I'm more a performance person because to me thats what counts better handling and going fast.


So whats your opinions.

 

IMHO, I think the lights will win some shows. Alot that I have been to recently base their judging on the "Flair" aspect rather than the rest of the car. I kept alot of my stuff stealthy (mainly all stealth on my turbo goods) and its hurt me some. Heck, one show I went to last year, I got beat out by a stock tC that happened to be 2-toned, not a single other thing done to it....

Another question , I have is why is the scion community doing lights. You don't see the honda guys with lights...Why scion?

 

I personally like the lights. Cruising with a fully tinted black car, and blue under glow makes heads turn. I even got complemented by this guy who has a supped porsche.

Different Strokes For different strokes is what i say.


But if it were a tie, the car with the lights would deff win.

 

At shows.........at least the ones most of us attend we are judged according to SCCA grading scales.........

Lighting although not a big point getter can tie a car together and give it more crowd appeal...........

Performance upgrades like Suspension,Brakes,Motor,Wheels,Tires,Exhaust bring the biggest points at shows it seems..........

Next a good interior.......which includes Seats,Stereo,Amps,Speakers,and over all interior changes from stock........

Cleanliness of the vehical are very important..........car needs to be clean inside and out and under the car and under the hood as well........

Also how you put it all together really does go a long way.........neatness of install count.

I put the lights in because it was fun........it was something differant..........indoor shows they look really cool..........
