They are White..Im thinking..White for the Guages..Orange Needles..and White for the Console and Orange Radio Buttons..Cause you cant change em'..

I like the look of white and orange rather then blue and orange..

Im gonna do a Tech Article on it..Im gonna try to get TIMO to help me with it also..

Anyone with blue lighting consider changing the paint on the back of the needles? Maybe to white or something that would show the blue better. Looks like the stock color is orange/red..?

Also, do you guys notice it being much brighter? Like did you put power to it with half bulbs on the board? I've had Dashboard LED's on the same test bench as some dash bulbs, and aside from the illumination pattern, they were about the same brightness..

All I ask is that you give me like 20 bucks or so.

If you're really interested, let me know, get in touch with me PM me or email me at apayne at sigmatel dot com. You can visit my company's website at www.sigmatel.com

Thanks.

The stock gauge needles are transparent with a layer of orange on the bottom followed by a layer of white. You can remove the material with a solvent such as acetone (nail polish remover). Then you can apply some Testor's model paint on the bottom of the gauge needles in your choice of colors. Be sure to apply only one thin coat as excess paint can throw off the accuracy of the needle with its weight.

Could you post pics when you're done, or link to the tech article? I'd really like to see this color combo for the gauges/dash. Thanks!!

I have to find the picture somewhere.. A couple years back on my MR2 Turbo I painted the needle and the whole dial for the Boost gauge skin color, then filed it down a little and painted on a nail. So when I built boost, the hand with one finger spun north and you got a hand giving you the bird.
