Default Please help me figure out what i did

Hi all new here. Just picked up a 08 TC.

Today i was trying to remove all the wires for the sub and amp the prevous owner had. The part i screwed up was when trying to pull the wires out i forgot to disconnect the battery.

I never saw a spark but the radio went dead i have checked fuses and i cant find any that are blown.

Also now my break light will not go off and the abs light is stuck on as well as the tire inflation indicator.

My first question, do you think i fried the head unit? It is the stock poineer unit. Is there something other then a fuse that would cause it to not power up?

could these idiot lights be on because when checking fuses i put one back in in the wrong spot?

Can anyone help? I havent even had this car 24 hours before i managed to screw it up.

Yes i realize i am an idiot for not disconnecting the battery but i was not thinking.

^ yup get the old light tester out and start poking away, maybe you removed a ground wire or maybe pulled a power wire out of its place.. but check every single fuse one at a time really well, there should be 2 fuse boxes one under hood and one in the cabin (if the tc is like most cars in that sense)

its very possible you fried the radio..

look at the fuse box and flip it over..there should be one that says radio or audio or something of the sort..the one for the radio is generally under the steering wheel inside the cabin it should be a 10a or 15a

OK got it figured out.

There is a 20a fuse under the hood labeled RAD1
there is also a 7.5a fuse under the dash in slot 24 labeled ACC.

I blew the 7.5. I could of swore i checked it yesterday but i guess i missed that one. Everything works fine now.

Thanks everyone for the help
