Does anyone know what this plug is for?

I'm wondering cuz i might of blew the fuse for what ever thats for......

 

how do u think u blew the fuse for that plug if u dont even know what its for lol

 

well....i have something else hooked up to it and its not working.......it might be cuz it doesnt have power going through it anymore.....and i blew that fuse.....but thats a maybe....thats why im wondering what its for just to make sure...

 

isnt that the connector for the switch for fogs?

 

might be....the fogs are working fine though

 

why would you hook something else up to it if you didnt even know what it was in the first place...?

 

ahh... long story...i was getting the information off another thread diy....

does anyone know what that is!!

Lemme see if I can help you out....I'm not an electrician but I can research pretty good. Now let's see which harness we are looking at: by your pix it looks like its the IB2...this I think is a Joining harness between the LH door wire and the Instrument Panel... Maybe after we determine if it is this harness, we can find out the individual wires that it connects.... Hey SL guys, your inputs please!

me tooo! Don't tell my boss! nweiz check late if it's IB1 (Grey color) or IB2. IB1 has seven "pin slots" while the IB2 has 20..

 

..o no its IB2 .....the black wire is positive...and i used the red wire as a switch to be turned on......and there was one wire black and white that was the ground...
