Default Quick Help

I have a 2007 tc with 33,000 miles on it. I'm getting close to going over my warranty coverage and I'm beginning to have an issue with my hatch rattling. It comes and goes and usually happens at higher speeds but does happen sometimes at lower speeds. It's awful on roads that aren't really smooth. Has anyone else had a similar problem? What did the dealer say to you?

Also a friend of mine burned a hole in the bottom of the back seat with a cigarette. Is there anything I can do about that?

Thanks!!!

about the rattle: they'll try to fix it, but most of the time, the tech will say they can't hear anything so pretty much it's a waste of time.

about the back seat with the burned hole: you should burn a hole in his face.

irregardless.
a burn hole in the face is deserved.

or make her pay for a whole new seat.
thatll teach her to either not smoke in others cars or learn how to ash her isht. lol

I put grey foam 1/2 inch, self adhesive weatherstripping (like you use for house doors) under all plastic-to-metal areas on the entire hatch. I have not heard a single rattle since.

haha, but in all seriousness, have that person pay for it! why are you trying to fix/pay for their mistake? they need to own up for it. that's the reason why i hate driving people around and i wish the tc had only 2 seats. and why would you ever let someone smoke in your car?

i smoke but not in the car. as for anyone else who does they pay for any damages done to my car. they understand and don't. if they really need to i'll pull over and let them outside but i'm tired of getting into a car that smells like a nasty cigarette. hopefully i'll quit soon. but as for the chick make her pay, or offer her something else for the oral fixation she has. either way make her pay for the damage done.
