Default Rear scion badge replacement=TRDbadge *pics*

enjoy! Got it from ebay... I'll keep it intil something better comes along. It isn't flimsy at all and is aluminum. I had to puddy and paint the holes left from the OEM scion badge grrrrrrr oh well it looks pretty clean.

Got to keep people guessing! Most don't even know what a scion tC is lol.

Go here for BIG PICS. 56K WARNING!:

ya thats an improvement alright.

but imo completely badgeless would look best on these cars,

pretty lame of Scion to drill holes into our cars for emblems when adhesive backed ones would have clearly sufficed.

I'm just not sure about it. It's something original and clean... but I don't know if I'm feeling it.

Looks kinda OK, but a little too 2D for my taste.
I really don't mind the looks of the Scion badge that much. I could be improved a bit, at least the one on the front grille. I'm thinking of dremelling off the material between the Scion S and the oval surrounding it, so the S will look like it is floating and not connected to the oval. Then get rid of the plastic honeycomb grille altogether and replace it with a black sceen pushed back into the opening, so it will be less noticable. Something like affect you see with the Mustang's floating horse. This is a lot of work though, and I'm so reluctant to cut inot my baby cause she's oh so young yet!!!!
Someone do it please so I can see what it may look like.

There's a reason they drill those holes. They know that a lot of people with the urge to mod like to take off the badges. They want people to know that the cool car in front of them is a Scion. Therefore, they drill holes to make it less likely that you'll remove the "Scion" badge. They could care less if you know what model you're looking at (a quick trip to a Scion dealer will clear that up), but they want you to know that it's a Scion.

I just got sick of the 'throwing star' on my car hehe... I am 50/50 with this TRD one, I will most likely change it once something better comes out.

Kinda like how they want to keep the LEOs happy by drilling our front bumpers for the front plate. I removed the crappy looking screws that they used to hold on the dealer's ad plate, only to find in horror that the holes were just drilled into the plastic, and there was no bracket back there to remove. Can somebody please make body colored low profile plastic caps to cover the LC plate holes please! Start with the FM colored ones and I'll be in front of the line to buy them!

that is exactly why I made the salesman put a clause in the purchasing contract that I will not take delivery if THEY DRILL FRONT LICENSE PLATE HOLES in my bumper.

Hehehehe no holes for me.
