On my way to work last night I got rearended right outside my job. It was a pretty hard lick, which totaled his car and knocked the rear bumper off mine along with the trunk gettin smashed in a little. I hit my head on the steering wheel and ended up with a big ___ lump on it. Airbags didnt deploy though, which I think is good. Whats funny is that I work at the hospital and was right outside the hospital with an ambulance right in front of me with big blinking lights and this guy came from no where and rammed me up the ___. So instead of working last night I had to check in and get all sorts of test done. Luckily im ok but my beauty is now smashed up. Thankfully the kid has insurance cuz hes paying for my car damage and my medical bills. The scion held up real good though given the circumstances. It still drives the same wit no frame damage that I or any of my buddies could see but im gonna need a whole new rear end of my car. What sucks is now resale value of my car will drop like 30% because it will say been in an accident even though i didnt cause it. Life sucks.......................Be good to your scions and dont let jackasses hit it. LOL

j/k.............I almost got backed into the passenger side yesturday by this a$$ in a Lexas..........he even gave me the bird when I started honkin............he would of had a big butt lump all over his ___ had he hit me............sucks about your ride.............glad to hear your ok as is the other guy I suspect.............

Anyway, I know what it feels like to be rear ended in the tC. I got rear ended almost 2 years ago in mine and it caused almost $14,000 in damages and it still was not declared a total loss.

Make sure you pick the best body shop in town to get the work done - otherwise you're going to regret it.

wow, that sucks. but your airbag won't deploy from a rear end collision.

also, you can include the depreciation of your car in your restritution because decreased resale value qualifies as property damages. ask your insurance agent about it.

Thanks yall for the support. Its been a sad day and a half now. But it could have been worse. When you talk depreciation what should i do. Im new at this. All i know is i gotta make his insurance pay for my car and my medical bills. Do i attach it to that and make his insurance pay that to.
