Remote Starter & Slidekey HELP!
Two questions, One about a Remote Starter and another about the Slidekey!
Today I went and paid my local shop to install an "Arctic Starter (AR600-S)" into my 2008 Scion tC for $300. That's for kit and install, btw. So now not only am I mad that I had to get rid of my awesome key with my controls already on it and use the stock valet key and have some bulky device to unlock/lock and start my car, I am having a "problem" with lights. So it seems no matter what my dial is on for my lights, either on or off, when I remote start the car..they are always on. I actually have to open my car, put the key in the ignition and tap the break once for them to shut off and then can start driving. So in other words, in the day time when I start my car and my switch is on the off position, the lights still stay on until I get into my car and tap the break. While this might sound not a big deal, it's a big deal for me and very "sloppy" and I don't like it. I don't like headlights on in the day time, looks messy. Another thing is...the car shuts off 15 mins after I press the button, incase I hit it and get stuck inside somewhere..my car isn't still running and that is a great feature, however, it is not so great when today I started and was stuck at my buddies for longer than I wanted and about 30 mins later I go out and my car is off but my head lights and taillights are still on. What the heck is this? Is this a common problem or what am I not getting?
Another thing is now that I have this boring key, I was looking at the "Switchblade" keys and the "Slidkey".
For instance: http://www.amazon.com/Slide-Key-2008...6616628&sr=1-2
How legit is this thing and do you think it works good? I tried researching and can't find much but was wondering if anyone with the scion has this? Is it like big?
Please help me out guys! Thanks!

what do u mean buttons that dont work...you transfer the guts from your current key into the new key...it has 3 corresponding buttons on it that line up with the "guts" from your current key
But the remote start I got put it disabled all those buttons on my key. I HAVE to use the ones that came on the remote start now. I need to use THEIR unlock and lock. Get it?
yeah your going to have to get over it because thats one of the things when u get a alarm and remote start installed is you have to use there button on the aftermarket remote. if you didnt want that then you should have just got a remote start installed and not a aftermarket system with remote start and keyless entry
as for the headlight thing its all in how they wire it i no its tricky with the way the relay for out headlight thing work but i no on my clifford system if i have the **** set to on and when i lock and unlock the the DRL dont blink but if the **** is switched to off then they do blink but my headlights dont come on at all if its remote started or not just my fog lights cuz thats how i have them wired
