Default Removing Antenna (any problems?)

Seeing as how I never use my radio at all, I was thinking about just leaving the antenna off completely as opposed to buying an S2K antenna. But...is there any potential danger to this? I was just wondering if water from rain or washing the car could possibly mess something up to where I wouldn't be able to use the radio anymore in the event I decided I actually wanted to listen to it.

Thanks guys...

like just unscrewing it and having a small nub? or ripping the whole thing out and leaving a big hole in your car..

well your gonna have a open electrical "socket" and yeah it wouldnt be good for water and ____ im not sure if it would do anything with your radio though.... all in all it doesnt look that bad and to be honest it might look worse with a small stub.... ive never once used my radio but i just have kept it on there. there also are "stubby" ones you can purchase i know theres a couple on here you can find go to a form like unique mods or rare mods youll see them..

Yeah guys I did mention I'd like to go completely antenna-less, not S2K or any other stubby. Just the nub.

you can get cheap little stubby antennas for so cheap, why roll around without one? just seems cheap and tacky and lazy.

This is the antenna I roll with. It's the smallest one I've ever found. I get almost zero reception but since I never listen to the radio I don't care. It'll give it a finished look without much bulk and it's pretty darn cheap.

It's an old picture but it's the best I've got for the antenna.

sticka shorty on there. otherwise, it'll look like your antenna fell off or someone stole it. it won't look cool, it'll look broken.
