Ok before i say anymore i am not a bad driver just one bad accident led to some problems. So my problem is that i have some major scratches from when a tractor trailer lane changed into my car. So i was thinking is it really worth the money to get the dealer to touch up my driver side(hit a jersey barrier just above the rear tire) and under my front bumper... or just hit up maaco for a deluxe 1500 dollar job?
stay away from maaco..i wouldn't let those people paint a tricycle!!
find a good body shop.. ask around with dealers, even insurance adjusters.. they can tell ya who's bad..
what we need on this site is a body shop review portion, like the dealers.. where reviews can come in of good body shops for toyota/scion vehicles..

I've Personally never took my vehicles to Maaco... But My father took his '72 SS el camino to maaco to get it Painted via thier "Delux" paint service, and they painted the passanger door shut. ALSO my friend had his CRX painted "non delux job" and when yah open the door you saw the old color "red" he painted it Midnight blue. They paint it un even and they match just about as well as a color blind fashion designer for Oompa Loompas in a Black Hole.
my friend took his car in to maaco and they didn't paint inside the door handles on the outside of the car and when you open the door you still see the old paint on the inside of the door. they are ghetto as hell and would never take my car to get painted by them.
well it depends what you want to pay. you want stuff painted interior, its extra. i had a piece of crap escort done there. they may do a bad job taping off, but they dont spray bad IMO. its all how you prep, not the paint
my friend took her old corvette to a maaco,
crappiest job ever. the paint bubbled up and chipped off in some places,
shes taken it back twice already and they just keep telling her that since its under warranty to bring it back when it happens again. It should be done right the first time,
that response was ridiculous

i guess mine was just a freak case. they did a pretty decent job. it was the 600 special too. the only thing i would liked it more taped off and stuff. but for 600, im not going to complain

yea but like knowing the body shop i took it to for when they replaced the whole passenger side of my car they would charge me every penny i have... and i dunno i may just get the stuff touched up and suffer the charges... i mean i had to fork out about 2 grand for my TRD struts, springs, and install... dealers are nuts.
wahoo i made a maaco bash post!
P.S. - i really was hoping u guys would bash the hell out of the place so any thought of bringin my tC there was flushed from my impressionable teenage mind
