Replacing an '05 stock radio for an '06 factory ipod radio.
I'm not sure if anyone has done this, but I seemed to have done it succesfully. I have one major problem though. The volume on the new radio is significantly lower. Does it pump less wattage or did I do something wrong? Does anyone has any experience with this, or suggestions?
i've done this. yes, volume is lower, i'm not sure if it's a wattage issue, i'm not an expert in this and i dont really have an answer to help u on this since i havent done anything about it myself, but i just wanted to let u know that ur not the only one.

Will anything change if you do that to the standard 05 setting too (make it louder)? changing setting to xa, xb. For the use of an ipod I just purchased a periferal ipod adapter from mp3yourcar.com, it works great.

ASL= Automatic Speed Level volume control.. As you speed up or slow down the volume will adjust accordingly. This was on the 06+ models.
