You guys crack me up. Factory is $900 plus install from dealer. Aftermarket is $450...just be careful of the quality of glass. Mine looked like a circus mirror. The seal for the windshield is $50 and in short supply. 3 weeks ago I had to wait a week to get it. Midwest pricing of course

cost for the shield is about $467 plus labor, approx 75 - 100 depending on shops, 53 for moulding from dealer only, and about 20 for urethane. These are prices from my shop in maine and they can vary greatly depending on area. I would be careful if you get any price lower then 450 installed unless the company is stocking the windshield which I doubt since there are still so few out there. I havn't put one in personaly but looking at mine it seems pretty simple. about 2 hr install. hope that helps.

Its funny that people laugh at $1000 . That is nothing for a new windshield. There are a few differences between some of the cheaper ones.. First, the optical qualities sometimes suck and second, some of them do not have the latest, greatest anti shatter technology. The latter is not as much of a concern most of the time, but the first definitely is. I would expect to pay at least $500 for one. And even then, check it out well before you buy it.

That is why you get unlimited glass coverage

That's what i have to pay right now. well, actually $500 deductible to my insurance. the rest of the $1000 is billed to the insruance. i have to get the windshield from my delaership and the moulding from oregon. sucks because i had the car for 2 days.
