REVIEW: Techna fit stainless steel clutch line
On a scale of 1-10, installing this (including bleeding the line) would be about a 5 (without a pressure bleeder)......WITH a pressure bleeder, more like a 1.5-2.
The one thing that I really didn't like about the stock setup clutch pedal was how there was a little discrepancy in pedal pressure. I could feel a little give whenever the clutch engaged or when i went to disengage it and I it wasn't a real comfortable feeling. I tried flushing the brake fluid a while back, including the slave cylinder, and it helped out a bit. The pedal felt a little more solid and responsive to both engagement and disengagement of the clutch.
Well, since I felt a slight improvement with just a fluid flush, I wanted to go for the line and see how that helped...if at all. After installing it yesterday and driving about 160 miles between then and now, I could tell the clutch pedal was pretty much on point. There was no give either way and it felt very smooth. I could tell there was pressure behind it from the fluid, but it felt so exact that it was a bit deceiving. I was expecting the same pedal feel as just a fluid bleed and refill but this was a bit better than that.
I purchased the line from Corsport for 35$ and am happy with it. For aftermarket clutch setups, this would be a very nice thing to have if precise shift points are what you are looking for. It's easier to feel when the clutch is engaging the flywheel and it gives you a better sense of comfort when "spiritedly" shifting.

Update:
Yeah, the more I drive the car, the more I notice this helps out a great deal in pedal feel and clutch engagement. Everything seems a great deal smoother and I can feel more in the pedal as to when the clutch is engaging/disengaging the flywheel. Personally, I like this upgraded more than the stainless steel brake lines for daily driving.
