I can't believe it! It's been 3 1/2 weeks since I was put on the list for a Scion tC at the Frontier Scion (I'm going only thru them for certain reasons I'm not going to get into). Finally, on Monday, they called me up and said that 2 are going to be released, first come first serve, on Friday morning, 9am. Since this car's in so high in demand, they are not allowed to take deposits until then.

Of course, I have class today, one with a test, so I can't skip school. But I get out at 11:30am, so I thought I'll have time to make it down there. 10:30am, I called the dealership to check up on the car.

Both cars have been sold 2 hours ago!

It seems that by around 8ish, there were 10-12 people already waiting at their dealership just to get those two cars!

Next allocation is in 2 weeks, and they're not even sure what color they're getting, too.
By then, I'll make sure I'll be there at 6:30am or something. Unbelievable!

 

dang where do you live. I got mine 1 week after it came out and there was no list. I walked in. they had my color. I got it. I keep hearing about all these lists and all. I kinda wish I waited until there is more parts out for it.

I went to Frontier because they gave me the best deal for springs+labor
Out of14 dealerships, they're going to charge me $350 or so. Sweet deal, excruciating wait!

I heard they tC,s were stuck in port , no work at the processing center for 8 days.

 

wow that sucks. i walked into my dealer, they had 3. 2 auto and 1 stick. i was like what color is the stick, white, ok ill take it. hour and like 3456098745 signatures later i drove it home. sucks you guys gotta wait so long, its a awsome car. no problems at all, duno what people are doing to their cars but i put 2k miles on it with no problems
