I do still have a little to pay... but don't think I'd end up upside down on a replacement. It definitely would be nice to NOT have a car payment... but at this point I plan around having one, so I'm not necessarily concerned with having one or not.

I really just wish they would announce SOMETHING about the tC's replacement or refreshing.

Get you some 08+ projectors, 09 floor mats, and some Clazzios and you'll be a-ok. Unless you just want 0 miles again or something.

I am about to check one out tomorrow to see what it looks like in person. I still don't think they are worth the extra 2k or whatever it is.

I traded my 07 Spec package in for the RS5. 14,987 miles, payoff was 12k, -984 for extended warranty leftover brought it to about 11k, traded it for 10k and only 1k rolled onto the RS5. My payment's like $30 more than before, just starting over again for 6 years instead of 5. I've gotten compliments on the car wherever I go and people like the "Time Attack" wheels.

Hmm...

Heres what happened to me; maybe my story can help you decide?

Bought new '06 xA. Payments were $288 @ 72 months. Bought it when I had minimal wage job. $310 month @ 60 months were touching closer to my student loans payments.

Three months, got better job. Making double. Kept paying the $288 until August, September, October I was paying $500. Then November came around, traded the xA in for new '07 tC. Payments are $462.99 including some of past loan balance @ 72 months. Communiting 75 miles a day and driving during weekends; I have put 138k miles! And I've been in accident back in January. So I'm pretty much stuck owning this tC until the wheels fall off!

My point is-if I did actually kept the xA and paid $500s through out these three years? This xA would of been paid off this year! My credit would of been great and I could of went back to the dealer...picked up that shiny new CSM tC while owning the xA and keeping it for daily driving. Why didn't I do that?????
