POSSIBLE SOLUTION

Pop the hood. See that little black rubber weather sripping on the front edge? Take it off. There are just a few screws and it comes off easily.

This should fix it. However, as some folks have the issue, and others don't, it may or may not work for everyone, but I do know that it's worked for at least one person.

Edit for furhter description: it's the rubber piece sitting directly on the pearl white frame of the grill.

Default same prob...

I just got my tC today. I did notice the whistle at around 70 mph. It isn't that bad tho. You can't even hear it if you are playing music.

It screws on, so you can always put it back. It's how the dealership in GA fixed it....but they went through a windshield, a sunroof, and destroyed the plastic that seperates the tire from the engine compartment in the process.

I have an idea on how get on the nerves of toyota...

We should all be organized, and call Toyota on the day and on the same time within few hours. For example, on certain day everybody calls anywhere from 14:00-16:00 hours .
What do you guys think about that idea ?

P.S. I'm geting my car within a month , and ofcourse its kind of upsetting if that's going to be not fixable manually.
I think that we should all let them know, and keep doing that !

Problem solved. ScionofPCL was right that is exactly what the dealership did and it works. I am glad I don't have to drive around with that noise for however long I own the car. WOOO time to rejoice everyone!!!!

Are you sure? Because I am going to print this forum out and take it to the dealership service department and have them fix the "wind whistle". I have an apt to take in my RS 3.0 early next week. If anyone else takes their car in and do the same thing please let me know if it works.

All I got is a camera phone (and a sucky one at that) but I'll give it a shot.
