Default Is rustproofing worth it?

Is it worth spending the extra $400 for rust proofing? I thought that there was a rustproofing done at the factory.
Thanks,
Superman

I am not a car manufacturer or painter, but rust proofing and sealing is done with factory paint.

I would not pay $400 for anothere rust proofing job, in my non-expert opinion, it is a rip-off. If you plan on keeping the car for a long time, then later on you might want to consider rust-proofing, but I am sure you can find it cheaper than $400.

Just take care of your car; wax it, love it, be gentle. It should be fine.

It's cool if you plan on keeping your car long. I probably will so I got it when I bought the car.
