Scion Dealerships Sell 2006 Models?
Do Scion Dealerships still sell 2006 tC models?
If Not, I'll be looking at a 2007 tC, and I got a Question:
I'm going to be looking to finnance a Car (Scion tC) and I was wondering since Im turning 18, that if Scion dealerships might accept me financing a Car there. (No Credit).

Um, most dealerships ran out of 2006 models about a year ago. Anything still on the lot is probably a 2007 - but if you wait a few weeks, you can probably get a 2008.
If you have no credit, they might require a cosigner (like one of your parents or something).

well, what my dealer told me, who is an old family friend, said:
basically if you finance at the dealership they will find a bank that will give you the loan, he called it "the waiting game" where basically they call(or do whatever they do) every bank until someone does it, i had no credit, and they let me do it, mind you i was putting a hefty down payment... :D
324.42 a month but i am almost done payin here and its only been 7 months... yahooooooooooooo!
but why 2006? the 2007s are almost thru...the 2008s are comin out in a couple weeks...

if you cannot spell finance, and you're getting ready to drop 20k on a car you have a problem. We put 4 grand down on mine, which brought the financed amount to 17,xxx and my payments are 320 a month. That is with Tier 1 credit.
They probably won’t finance a new car for you, since you are just turning 18 and have no credit. You’ll more than likely need a co-signer for a loan. And don’t finance through the dealership, their interest rates are usually higher than most banks. If you cannot get approved for a reasonable loan through a traditional bank, then take it as a sign. You are not yet financially ready to purchase a new vehicle.
I don't know about the dealership's rates... My rate was pretty good through Toyota Financial. Of course, if your dealership uses local banks instead of TFS, who knows what you might get. But if you have a bank you regularly deal with or a local credit union you can be a member of ... you'd get good rates there too.
the dealership won't sell you a car if you are only 17 without a cosignor because you are not an adult. as a minor, you could buy the car, beat on it, and return it for a full refund so long as you are still 17. no dealership would sell you a car under those conditions. one of my professors explained one of his examples like this.
so keep saving and wait until you are 18 to get your tc. also, if you can't, don't get one with a cosign. if you want to build up your credit rating, finance it yourself, if you cosign, you don't get the credit rating on your record.
anyway, i recommend fitzgerald auto mall in gaithersburg. got my tc, my mom's subaru and my gf's first and second xa new from them. pretty nice people down there.
