i have a tc, like many owners i want to do things to it. but some of th things i want to do involve painting and bondoh and other stuff. i want to get my tails tinted, interior painted ,adn garnish badgeless. alot of people have said ikona and others tell me to go with flea. but who should i go with?

help me decide, state who and why?

 

unless your a badass DIY, get your lights professionally painted. a quality place runs around 100- 130ish. relatively cheap and in my opinion one of the first things you should do.

 

i say flea.... i havent heard any bad things about him.

 

if you're open to vinyl, consider Headlight Armor. Their tail tints are very good quality. Just be sure when you install it either get someone who has worked with vinyl before or use heat, I find paint stripper guns work well on the low setting, a hair dryer might also work. Vinyl will run you about $40, and is removeable if you don't like it / cops tell you to remove it. Paint needs to be wet sanded off.

well, i finally got a chance to meet, talk, and see flea's work first hand and i have to say i am very impressed. really laid back guy, seems to take pride in the work he does. after reading about ikona, i can say i'm happy that i'm not having him do my stuff.
