Scion quality

Do you guys think that's accurate?
I wonder what made our cars rate so low (in Toyota standards).
I'm guessing it's because most owners are "young" and they tend to abuse the "F" out of them.
wtf, we're lower than kia!? no i think that we rate low cuz even though toyota m,akes us we r still relatively new cars and yes i think have young owners for the cars can bring us down too since they don't know how to take care of their car

J.D Power can go suck the big one, we're above BMW & Subaru but KIA is above us....massive lolerskates. Why is Hyundai all the way up there? tranny problems FTMFW!
Our reliability is where it matters, I would rather have a rattling hatch then a broken down tranny. I own an 07 and no rattles what so ever.

Wtf...........Hyundai is up at the top? No where does it say how those surveys are done. So theres no telling what the results are based on. It could be a within one year of ownership study. I doubt any actual longevity of these vehicle's drive-train stability and what not was taken into consideration.
Also, what indicates a.."problem?"

Not to rain on the parade, but my tC has been in the shop 16 times in less than two years, including mechanical/reliability problems. My parents 2006 Sportage with 30k miles has not had to go in once. So while I love Toyota, I can't say my Scion has lived up to my expectations (and I DO take care of the car). Hyundai/Kia has made huge strides in quality improvement and are far better than they used to be.
you'd be surprised to learn that the JD Power's survey is accurate. No matter if people don't like the results.
I've seen where dealerships have replaced many transmissions (manual) on the tc, a/c compressors, steering racks, sunroofs on many, many Scions. So no, Scion's place on the list is the truth.
Toyota got us this car at this price by cutting costs, those costs cut results in products that fail more. It doesn't mean that your part will fail, just that the percentage of failures goes up. Why? Because it costs more to engineer a fault free part and check it at the supplier. Welcome to cost analysis!

Yeah I would say that the graph isn't too wrong, though misleading as in if there were another graph showing the quality in 5 years or so Toyota, Honda, scion, Lexus, and acura all would be pretty high and you would see what most people expect to see Hyundai, Kia, and ect. near the bottom. That's also the sad truth for much of the American brands.
