I took my 07 Scion TC to brakemasters for an oil change and an automatic transmission flush today and they told me that for Scion TCs, you're not supposed to do a flush for the automatic transmission. They said to just drain the transmission oil and replace it with new ones ONLY when necessary. Is that true that it's not supposed to be flushed?? How often do you guys drain yours? I had mine drained at 25k and now its 52k. is it necessary for me to do it now?

 

You don't have to completely drain it. Just let it out and top it off.
