What are you talking about? I hope you are joking. You do understand that they are "extendable", meaning it looks the same until you "extend" them... right???

You're too funny

OT but I'm not familiar with Scion's engine immobilzer system. Does the system utilize the car key w/ a coded chip inside? I dont know much about alarm systems either, just basic stuff w/ cut off switch..... what type of aftermarket engine immobilizer is there? But I guess all alarms are kind of an immobilizer?

Don't know about aftermarket immobilizers, but mine came with a chip in the key and a little "dog tag" that has the code on it. My dealer told me that the keys for my '07 are different than the previous year, but the inside mechanics are the same.

I saw 2 at the dealership last night, and I must say it really isn't a big deal.

I think it kind of sucks to be honest...who the hell would want the glass roof and not be able to open it? The tuner edition should have been more performance oriented IMO

they should have put an aluminum roof instead of glass to help lighten up the car a lil bit...but I bet they didnt because it would throw off the geometry of the car...the car has a good center of gravity because of that glass panelling.

Agreed. And just like the TR it's a rip-off when you compare what you lose to the small amount you save.

You're assuming that everybody wants a sun/moon-roof and alloy rims, however some don't care for it. What else can you get for 15k? ford focus, mazda 3, honda civic DX, nissan sentra, uuummm yeah. Out of all these cars for 15k looks and power wise which one seems best hmm??? ;p i'd keep the steelies for winter time anyways (Yes! not everyone lives in California/Florida hehe) ... Still a great deal for the money...

Are you kidding me?
I mean more practical (ideal) for driving vision on sunny days. It would be nice if I had shades that extend behind my rearview mirror.

I doubt TRDsparks has them yet.
Go to the dealership and find a SPEC package TC. Get the VIN# and
use that to order those sun visors at the dealerships' parts dept.
That's what I'm going to try doing. As far as the install, I think they
mount the same way as the ones on standard TCs. You'll have to
take your chances.

Any '07 should work 'cause they all have the extendable visors. Not just the spec package (I mention it cause dealers prob have more base models than spec models)

the only thing the spec lacks is a roof that opens, cruise control, nice wheels, and keyless entry... right?
