Default Scion tC Yakima Fairing

Hello! First post here Got my tC a month ago and love it.

I have the Yakima roof rack, and would like to get rid of that noise on the highways

Could anyone tell me the size fairing I need for an '07 tC?

THANK YOU!

The Yakima website lists the 44" fairing for the tC.

No problem! Actually, I have a question...has your highway fuel mileage decreased significantly with the rack? I'd be interested to hear your feedback before and after the fairing.

Also, have you looked into whether or not the fairing will interfere with the front flap of the sunroof? I haven't found much info here. Do you even have a sunroof?

Are you using it for a mountain bike? Do you know if one fits inside the tC with the seats folded forward? (come to think of it...do the seats fold flat?)

I don't have a tC yet but am considering trading my truck for one next month...

All tCs (with the exception of Spec models) have sunroofs.

I'd bet that a bike would fit with the seats down, the front wheel may need to be removed though. I've never put a bike in my tC, but I did fit a tC hood in there.

Yes, the seats fold flat.

Yeah, I thought he might have a Spec model so I wanted to make sure.

I would definitely remove the front wheel to put it in...I'm just hoping it fits - nice to know the seats fold flat, thanks!

i put my mtb in there almost every other day...it fits with the front wheel off and there's still room for all your gear. I fit two bike just a few days ago, one with both wheels off and mine with just the front

Awesome! I'm short and ride a small frame (15" Specialized that almost looks like a girl bike!) so I think I'll be set. Thanks for the info, dude!

The rack sits in FRONT of the sunroof, so there are no issues there. And nope, no mileage decrease as seen yet....I love it...slick rack. Thanks again for the help...

Specialized is the ____! Be sure to get the cargo liner so that your car doesn't get dirty. Its a little pricey but well worth it. It protects the cargo area even when the seats are folded down.

Yeah...I have a rack on top...sucks that you cannot open the sunroof with it on though...Specialized are nice bikes...I ride a Giant TCR 2...and mine is a medium...so I know about smaller frames! lol! Don't put it in your car...the rack is easy to remove...

yeah.. interesting fact that i heard..

one of the people that helped design the tC made sure that his bicycle could fit in the trunk of the tC when the seats were folded down.

so yeah...
