Does anyone know if the 2006 xA will have the option of a sunroof? I really want one on my new xA. Right now I'd have to choose between an aftermarket one or get the RS 1.0 which comes with one. But that's only in red and I really wanted it in black.... Any hope for the 2006 model?

 

I checked the interior on the 2006 xB's on the toyota japan website. They have the auto transmission shift lever on the column and they have conversations seats like the tC. Plus the rear seats fold down and they also fold forward. Check it all out here: http://toyota.jp/bb/interior/index.html

 

No, it doesn't. The 06 iSt shows most of the rumored changes for the 06 xA.

 

are you sure that's the '06 xB(US version), not the bB(JDM)?

 

The bB IS NOT the xB. The xB is based on the bB, and there's probably more in common between the two than differences. But US requirements, tastes, and target markets are different from the JDM and require a noticeably different vehicle.

There's at least one good thread from a while ago attempting to list the various differences between the bB and the xB.

NOTE: I don't what it's like to shift with your left arm, but that might be why the shifter is on the steering column on the bB.

Any more news on xA 06 status? My anxiety is killing me and I am pushing to the limit how long to wait to see if I would be able to wait for a 06 model.

Huh? I'm pretty sure that in this thread it was brought to out attention that the 5-speed auto didn't make it to production.. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned somewhere.

 

I don't think the 5 spd auto made it to production for the 06. HOPEFULLY with the supercharger on the way. a 6 spd manual and 5 spd auto will come in 07.... Fingers crossed on that one.

 

No 5-spd. automatic. The '06's should be available by the first of August.

 

The 01 of august sounds reasonable wait or a week more au contraire of sept. For that unfortunately I would not be able to wait
