Honestly, I think it's fine. Had no problem with visibility. I used to drive the MR-2 Spyder, and that had plenty of blind spots. Just got to get used to it, thats all.

I have trouble parking going head first sometimes because the rear wheels are sooo far behind for a coupe. I also install 2 blind spot mirrors. I use it just so I can see the lines for the parking space and also to see the curb so I dont scratch my wheels.

To those of you who are talking about blind spots and the like, do you actually look back over your shoulders at all? I check my mirrors and then glance over my shoulder, and I don't think I've noticed any real spots that a car could hide in. Maybe a pedestrian, but they'd have to be truckin' to keep up with me on the freeway.

The reason I ask is that I have a friend who's rather... plump. He can't really turn his head too far to either side, so that's why he has those little convex mirror things. Other than that, I guess they would be nice if you have to parallel park a lot to save your rims.

Please read that to see how to adjust your mirrors to eliminate blind spots. If necessary, you can always lean forward a little. Turning your head around can be dangerous while driving. If you get them set up correctly, you can test it by driving between two parked cars in a lot and watching them pass through your mirrors.

I do a head check, yes, but with the pillar and the small rear window it's still easy to miss something. I'm always extra attentive though.

The rear window ____es me off most. Its tiny so backing up is tough and no wipers! When I drive in the rain and I want to take a gander at the rearview all I see is a big blur.

You could always install a loud back-up siren so at least everyone knows your blind ___ is coming through.

Use Rain-X - I put rainx on my front and rear windshields and it's GREAT. You know how rain will bead up and fly back if you're going fast, say.... 55+? Rain-x does that at 25. It'll help you a lot with the rear visibility in the rain. All the water will just flow off.
