i'll take the pics off if that makes you happy. i really don't care about showing off my car, i just wanted to show that it only takes a small sum of money to make your car look better than stock. please, show me another tC that looks better than mine with 200 worth of parts and has had all it's work done in a garage with just handtools and spring compressor. I wasn't trying to preach or diss on anyone else's car, i just wanted to tell some of the people who don't know as much about modifying to think twice about what they do with their money.
i hate to tell you this man, but your care doesn't look better then anyone elses, infact it looks worse. tacky yellow calipers. whats next some cheesy chrome molding around all of the doors, maybe a huge wing, or clear tailights? all i have on my tc is tint, and i'd have to say it looks better then yours imho

it's sort of funny... guess what.. i ordered mine with the FACTORY ground affects.. Factory 18 wheels... TRD exhaust.... why..?? because i personally liked the way it looked.. and becuase i CAN afford it.. i have looked around at the wide body kits and they look like crap... im not willing to spend a few months waiting to see a new body kit that i don't like.. i have seen some very very nice wheels on some of the cars here... and maybe one day ill trade up the factory 18's for something else..

by your logic.. wheels companies should make " one of sets" of their wheels that way no 2 cars look alike..

no problem though.. enjoy your grill.. it is a one-of..

i'm not trying to flame you, but you could have bought a borla muffler and got the same effect as the TRD exhaust for much less, but it's your car and your money

I got the TRD. Compared it to the Borla (which was on one of the dealership cars) and could tell no difference in sound... and the Borla was more expensive when I was looking at the car.... plus with warranty and it being new... it was easier just to order it from TRD with the vehicle.

I've figured out how to make mine TOTALLY different!!! I am going to paint MY calipers blue instead of yellow...... and I'm gonna hang fuzzy dice from the mirror and put a big giant sticker on the windshield that says SCION..... then I'm gonna come on here and tell everyone how their TRD stuff is crap.......

I sure wish Scion wouldn't have come out with all that aftermarket stuff too... I wish they would just put out a normal car, with no cool parts... make it nice and bland so we can just do whatever with it...... WAIT thats a buick!!!!!! And it would look great with the dice and the big sticker that says BUICK!!!!! Is he still reading this? He would be so happy I figured this out. If he bought a Buick... I gaurantee that he will be different from all of his friends!!!!

Or get a Saab, they advertise a "state of independence". Anyone know why driving a Saab would make me unique and independent?

if his e-brake wears out then thats on him. I did that in my frist car when I was 15 and a half. I would never do that in my new cars.

borla muffler? or axle back? i think the axle back is more expensive, the muffler shouldn't be. you can get a muffler for 100 - 200 bucks. i'm not saying the trd stuff is crap, i'm just saying an axleback (no matter who makes it) is going to give maybe a 2hp increase in power. if you are looking for sound a muffler will do just fine, if you are looking for power a catback would be better. as far as warrenty they have to prove the mod you made caused the problem. i can't see how they can blame a cat-back exhaust for anything. again, i'm not trying to flame, just making some suggestions

Hey there aznJ, if you havent noticed, this is the new Honda Civic, Unless you have like $20,000 to drop into your tC your just like everyone else on here. Wow you have painted calipers and a grill, maybe someday you will install an intake, and then what's next, some clear tailights That thing will start looking more and more like a Civic, dont you worry!

I thought you were comparing axle back... didnt read it well enough I guess I did think the same on the warranty... then my ex bought a mazda and had an amp and sub installed... .the dealer completely voided her warranty because of it!!! They noticed it when she brought it in for service and notified her that anything not installed by a non-certified shop voided her warranty! A bunch of BS I know, and I know it is not Toyota... but it does happen. And it bothers me worse cause I HATE having anyone else touch my car but me, especially beneath the hood!

Umm...isn't that illegal? Stereo in a car shouldn't void the complete warranty...it's not going to damage anything....

wow u guys get really heated over this stuff. I didn't post pics of my car on their because i think my car is better than anyone elses, i just wanted to show how u don't have to spend more money than needed. My grill is crap, i know that, and the painted calipers, i really don't know why i did that, but u guys just aren't understanding my message. i don't care about what you guys think about my car, it's my car, not yours. I was just trying to voice my opinion about how the facotyr parts are making everyone's car look the same. Don't flame my work because i'm still in high school and don't have thousands of dollars to shell out for amazingly developed aftermarket parts.

most of you are just looking at the pics of my car and thinking "rice" and that i'm just trying to show off my car, but i'd like to thank the select few who really understand what i'm trying to say.

if my post is so useless why are u guys gettin so heated over it, you act like i kille d abunch of puppies and smeared teh blood on my car and showed it off as a new paintjob.

Actually to be quite frank you came off as quite the pompous a$$hole about it in your original post... no one is getting heated.. just using a well deserved chance to give someone as much crap as possible! No one would have started making fun of your car if you wouldnt have worded your post in such a childish, rude sounding way... that is just asking for everyone to open up on you!!
