Should i buy the ScanGauge2

Default Should i buy the ScanGauge2

didnt know where to post this but is it worth buying the ScanGauge2 or is it a waste of money ?

Depends, do you have any need for it? The scangauge2 is a great tool for tuning and tracking your car. If your looking at it for just another mod, then no don't waste your money.

One of the few impulse-buy doodads I own that's actually useful. The trip monitor, the gauge display, and the ability to clear trouble codes are all worth the purchase price.

Can it tell you 0-60? Or 1/4 mile times?

no, does not have accelerometer functions. but a sweet product none the less! i love mine and i am cool now because i can check codes on my friends cars.

p.s. the 'horsepower' gauge is way cool on the scangauge II!

lol yeah that thing is fun but I definatly dont trust it, it read 213 hp one time

IDK, mine is fairly consistent. the main beef i have with it is the update interval is sssllloooowwww. this makes it hard to tell sometimes because when you hit peak RPM, the scangauge hasn't updated... and i don't want to hang out at that engine speed long enuf for the gauge to update.
