It does....the whole low torque makes me sick...just imagine if the si had 190 tq along with the 197 hp.....quick!......but no one can sit here and say a civic looks better than a tc....and its a honda=generic.....thats how ive always viewed them....ugly...p.o.s rice cars! with no torque! vtec....eaxactly..............................no people who r going to argue....yea its faster...and since the stock motor has 197 hp a turbo at 6psi might push more hp than a tc boosted at 6psi....but if u change swap the engine like honda did(si diff engine from civic) put the solora v6 makin 210 hp...whered the si go.....je ne sais pas....4 cars behind you....toyota=torque/hp honda= hp/no torque.......and a s/c tc will rape a si...cuz of 3 mor hp and lik 50 more torque than the si!

 

A turbo tC on 6 psi will put 220 to the wheels...

Apparently everyone can run half a second faster than professional drivers. I just love how cocky Si drivers are, they're the exact same as Cobalt SS and SRT-4 drivers. I guess they have to be like that when they've realized they paid an extra $8-10,000 for a sporty version of an econobox.

Like i stated somewhere else its not fair to compare a si to a tc....a civic to a tc yes....so si vs s/c...but even then is forced....but if u were to swap an engine such as honda did for the si instead of using the reg civic engine then the next thing that i hav heard of that wud fit is the v6 solora...which yea is still a v6 compares to a l4 but u got 6 gears and higher rpm.

and we all know a cobalt ss....runs low 14's.....so saying a si runs 14.7 and that a tc isnt capable is a faul argument buddy....go look at 1/4 mile times of both...they are pretty much the same....tc s/c has more tq...and 2.4......but i believe the si runs just as fast if not , is because of the 6gears and 7800 redline or w/e it is cuz i kno its higher...so yea saying it wud rape....no it wudnt but i kno i wudnt be beat by one...driver has alot to do wit it

Cobalt starts at 14,000. S/C runs about 23,000. Extra $9,000.

Tats first vid was sick.....not that i dount it but u do have to think outside the box....the vid was cut....u cud hav easily had a blue tc turbo run...and then film my car on location showing my engine and saying it was me.....just a thought but if its legit then damn....how does the engine to it....does higher rpm and 6 gears really effect it that much? Inform me

I really dont like to argue wit the whole turbo thing cuz in the end theres always someone who has more hp cuz of diff parts boost etc.....i lyk to judge off of bone stock engines....which is why i think a tc is pretty quick when u think about wut it can beat....when it comes to complete natural engine. Which in that case the si is faster.

ya i don't get why people always have to say the tc is slow, just because cars like an si have 36 more hp, i myself think its a pretty fast car decent at least and looks a whole lot better

 

I think the si looks alot better then a tC. But All motor for All motlor, the SI will win bone stock, and mod for mod. The k20 engine is alot better than the camry motor.

 

Im not saying the tC's slow. There BOTH not fast cars, but for the sake of the argument, the SI is quicker.
