Default side air bag removal

my tc hs the side airbags for the rear passengers. I don't want them any more because I plan on fixing my suspension for racing. so I wanna get a c pillar bar but can't because of the iar bags. can and will the dealer remove these? is there a price you have to pay? etc

who told you this car has rear airbags? or do you mean the side curtain ones? and no a dealer will not remove them. If you got in an accident your family(if you died) and your insurance company could sue the tech that did the work.

its possible. there are alot of interior removal diy's. but you also need to remove the headliner as well, be very carefull when doing that and do it with three people. when you slid it out the back of the hatch they have a tendencyy to bend in the middle from their own weight. Oh and its a 1200$ headlinier last i checked.

Where is the rear deployment machine for the rear bags? 'Cause the C-pillar bar attaches to the upper seat belt bolts which I'd think isnt in the way... right?

damn! I'm going to leave it alone. this is something I'd rather not touch. if I can get it done professionally I might do it. thanks

I think messing with any of the airbags is something better left to the pros....

I'm leaving the airbags. if you remove it (pita) you will get a warning on the dash and the dealer won't do it. too much liability.
