If I have Side Airbag option can I get seat covers or no?

 

The side airbag option is in low production, the numbers I got were about 5% of the cars made in 2004 had the side airbags. So depending on what color you want, trans, and location you may be waiting at least 3 month. (if you have to place an order)

 

ask the seatcover mfgr most of them say may or may not
hinder airbag op so whos to know

And the dealership tried telling me that to cover their behinds just in case and it took just over 3 weeks to get my 5spd, loaded with all of the airbags.

 

well seat covers WOULD extend over the side airbags... they are located in the side of the seat... right?

 

Ya you are not supposed to get seat covers because they are in your seats.

 

if u get some wet okole seat covers they will work. wet okole custom makes all the seat covers so they can make it work for you.

Side airbags come out of the side of the car......

 

Side CURTAIN airbags come out of the side of the car. The package with the tC is side curtain airbags and side airbags that come from the seat, thats why I asked.

Ya you cannot get Katzkin if you have them. Thats what they said.

 

I was Just letting Bakaduin know some dealerships are having trouble matching color, trans, and side air, depending on location, and that they should place an order ASAP if they are wanting a car with side air in the next 3 weeks (to be safe).

Because if you can't get a car with side airbags, (to your order specs) seat covers will no longer be an issue.

 

You can get seat covers that have cut-outs for the airbags.

 

yeah dude i had sseat covers i think for 2 months when i realized and noticed a post stating if someone could change the seats with side airbags. Someone said no because there are bags inside the stock seats. Iwas like holy crap. This whole time i had seat covers on w/ my SAB TC ... lol ... so i took them out.. 40 bills well spend
