If they are, please show me where it states this. Because I will go in there and present it to the GM.

Mmmmm.....nothing about mats. Both service managers i've talked to have said this is not "normal" wear and tear and it shouldn't be doing that already. And obviously i'm not the only one.
So man, what else you got? Other than free mats that CAN'T be replaced.....
how many times have you had to replace your shredders?
Still find it a bit hard to believe that they are warrantied, since they are post purchased, as an extra item.
Owners warranty Info booklet with the vehicle hehehe yep that's right... for the vehicle. Seeing the Mats are not the vehicle or come in the car from the factory, it's just a fine quote from an owner's manual. You are true bookworm and your skills are appreciated.
If you were covered, neato.
I'm not concerned, just curious to see where it says Mats are covered

Ok man, you can keep debating this with yourself. I've given you plenty of reasons they will be covered. Whether or not you want to believe me is up to you...I could care less. When they drove my car off the truck at the dealership it had mats in it. As soon as it was off, I was in it. Straight from a boat and onto a truck......how'd the mats get there? And just to inform you **PROFANITY** that book is exactly what the service manager pulled out. Do I need a specific warranty for my ground effects now?

On a side note...I got gum in my floor mats =(. Any ideas how to get rid of it???

yet you haven't answered my question
Genuine Scion Accessories:
Warranty coverage is for 12 months, regardless of mileage, with the exception of car covers, which are warranted for 12 months only. If the part or accessory is installed during the New Vehicle Limited Warranty period, coverage is for the 12 months or the remainder of the applicable warranty coverage.
straight from the scion.com, showroom->tC->features and specs->warranty. can we all get along now?
p.s. after hearing all the talk on this site about how crummy the mats were, i decided i didn't want them. however my car came with them listed on the sticker, and the dealer said they could not sell the car for below sticker price, therefore they could not remove the mats. i opted to buy the car anyways (obviously) but got it in writing from the dealer that not only were the mats warrantied for 3yrs/36000 miles, but if they had to be replaced (even multiple times), the 3/36k would start over.
sounds like not all dealerships are created equal. surprise, surprise.

wow, i cant believe that ppl actually bought the mats from scion. I got mines from this wholesale store for $12 and they are freakin great! they are thick and trap dirt and other crap in their "groves". Its kinda hot tho because the groves are actually cut-lines and they are customizeable for any car and the groves that you dont cut help trap dirt, mud, water and snow. They fit perfictally in the tC. if anyone wants them I think pep-boys sells thems in the other states, but for those who live in Philly you can bey them at any National Wholesale Liquidators in the auto section, they should be about $12.

yes, it has a thick heel pad.
I was having the same problem. Mine started wearing away after about 1000 miles. I went to the dealer a few weeks ago to get them replaced and the new ones had the rubber heel area, just like the release series. I'll try and go out to take some pics today.
