How much should I pay for a used hvac cluster with trim/radio cover/vents?
How much should I pay for a used manual shift bezel/trim/12v housing with clips?
Are there any oem or aftermarket carpet options besides salvaged?

How big is the diameter opening of the intake manifold where the throttle body connects?

So is the diameter of the throttle body smaller than the opening on the intake manifold?

Is there a thread for "sales" you find online? Or a Bargain thread?

wanted to post this on it:

http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...s-farmas-cheap

the VW crew seperates their sale threads by bolt pattern, most sellers list their tele number, and are willing to ship, so an account is not truly needed. Saw good stuff there, plus a lot of PA guys.

this does not answer the question, but try http://www.rockauto.com/ and you can go through the section of the car in question, i.e. engine and start looking at parts etc (they do have diagrams).

Yes, your listing says 57mm inter diameter. Per this site: http://www.centercaps.net/caps/detai...tockNumber=108

it notes the diameter of 2.25" which is 57.xx in mm. so i would say yes.

how much bigger are they? is like a massive amount?

can you remove the ring inside or shave the clips a bit to make it fit?

I debated on cutting it down to make it fit, but that's a lot of work. I'm going to send them back today and get other ones that should fit. It's 57mm clip to clip, OEMs are 57.15 mm diameter across the face of the cap. Should've read that before buying

I did find other ones that I want, but they are 57 mm and OEM is 57.15. Will that .15mm make a difference in fitment, or is it pretty safe to assume they'll fit? I contacted the seller and he just said to measure my OEM ones to make sure. It says it'll fit '06-'10 Toyota corolla and '07-'10 Toyota yaris

so the ones you bought were 57mm inter diameter

OEM is 57.15 across the face so the clip to clip of the EOM is what ? 54mm? same as the hub right?

is the seller going to let you exchange them? if so thats good.

mesure the OEM ones (clip to clip) to ensure.

the HUB of the rim/wheel is 54.1 so maybe the inner clip size should be 54.1 as well? i am confuse now.

so cuz i feel bad if the seller dont accept, lmk and I can possibly buy from you as a way to make this right since I did say it would fit. Should had remember that the hub size is 54.1 so maybe the inner clip should measure 54.1 instead of 57 (57 is the face right)?

Right, it should be 2.25" (57.15mm) across the face of the cap, and 54.1 clip-to-clip i believe. Thanks for the help. And this one is more of an opinion question, should i get normal-sized or extended lug nuts for the OEM rims? Both lugs are black and mag-style.

I'm new in here and cannot figure out how to start a thread so thought I'd try here and hopefully get some feedback in my 06 TC.
I don't know anything about cars so please speak in girl terms. Lol
I just bought a 2006 tc and this car is bad ___, I am in love after a few days.
Okay, the engine fan does not work and the previous owner "rigged" it to where its connected directly to the battery. Tis is a problem being my car sits on the ground and bounces a lot causing the connection to come undone. So I almost over heated it in the freeway yesterday being I didn't know it had turned the fan off. Also, I do not want to cease my engine. I haven't taken it in because I just dint have the cash for it. The fuse was mentioned to me as we'll.
Any thoughts?

Has anyone here ever swapped out an OEM rear sway bar from an automatic to a manual? My understanding is that manual rear sway bar is 18mm vs. automatic rear sway bar at 20mm. Also I believe the TRD is only 19mm.

Is there any significant difference in ride quality or a decrease in body roll?

I'm cheap and looking for a inexpensive mod to do or I would go with a Progress rear sway bar.

TRD is 22mm...i cant speak with any certainty for the auto versus manual bar but i highly doubt toyota would do something like that, it doesn't make any sense...
