well...i've been waiting 32 days, emailed several times and made on extra visit to the dealership. bottom line..they have many white cars WITH side air bags. i guess it does benefit me, so i just emailed my guy 5 mins ago to let him know that im fine with the additional 650 for air bags. hopefully i've made a good decision and hopefully this accelerates the process in which i recieve my soon to be 'baby'

 

Your insurance premium reduction over the next couple of years should offset the added expense of the SIAB, so unless you're concerned about the added weight, I think you made a wise choice.

good decision.... my cousin has the xA. Got t-boned at an intersection and now he wish he had his with SIAB as well. I got my 07 with that option only.... except I had to wait ~40 days.

 

Many California insurance companies stopped giving discounts for SIAB.

Either way, it's worth the extra $650 and is a downright bargain when compared he resulting hospital bill without SIAB.

 

question...i dont know crap about air bags. i've had a 91 camry, my brother has a 95 4runner, my dad a nissan sentra. non with airbags. how sensitive are they? what if i slam my door really hard in rage of girlfriend stupidness.
(side note: i hate when my girl ____es me off...)

SIAB is worth it imo, I refuse to buy a car without it.

I had to wait a month and a half for my 07 tc with just floor mats.. Apprently is unheard of to selll a bone stock tC.. What can I say.. I'm a simple guy.. Hahaha

 

My insurance actually went down because of the airbags. They should pay for themselves. Good choice.
