We're not hearing the whole story. There has to be some sort of inconsistency in the story you told them.
Were you upside down? Have you recently lost your job? How long did you wait to call the police after you noticed it was gone? Did the car show up someplace that didn't make any sense? Did you give them any problems meeting up for the in-person? Did the police suspect you were involved?

Of course I am not saying you WERE involved, I'm just concerned that you may have given them mixed messages. Right now, in this economy, you really are guilty until proven innocent when it comes to car theft.

If you feel like the adjuster did something wrong, you MUST contact you state insurance commission.
Car is in my grandma's name, and I was the last one driving it. We've ALWAYS made every single payment, and usually more than the minimum payment.

The car showed up in some foreclosed houses' backyard. Police didn't suspect anything, and their formal denial letter stated that there was no forced entry and the ignition was not defeated.

Now, they seem to be ignoring the fact that my car only came with one key in it. I just don't understand if a car thieve does a clean job, no mater what he's going to get away with it, and leave me screwed and having to pay for it.
Car thieves are skilled and FAST. Just because it looks like there was no forced entry and the ignition was not "defeated" is not proof that your committing insurance fraud.

What kind of damage was there? What was stolen if anything?

have you heard anything else from the insurance company? I sure hope everything works out for you if you're being honest about it all. insurance companies are such freakin' crooks! never had an issue like this, but I'd sure be ____ed if it happened! G.luck man!
