So I just bought my 2006 Scion TC last Wednesday, it performs great as far as I can tell (I know next to nothing about cars), but I noticed something weird today when I was replacing the headlight..





Like I said, I know nothing about cars, but I feel like that hole either shouldn't be there or should be covered up with something...

Any help would be appreciated!

 

yeah, that is where the tow hook goes in should the car be stuck and need winching out. there is a cover for it that is the same color as the rest of the tc that goes over it. see if the party you bought it from has it or will replace it.

 

its a factory ram air intake........

check the glove box and console maybe they put it there, thats where mine is
