I'd be really suspicious of a strut bar for $50.

I have order many items from them and they are a good source.
Shipping time is average depending on stock availibilty.
In fact I will be ordering from them again because they have a
lot of unique items for the xB. A lot of JDAM items, too that are hard to find.
I have the same cap with the xB logo. Most people in the know will tell
you that a front strut tie bar is more for looks rather any performance.
That price is a good value for the price. You can spend more for a
brand name item and it won't make a real difference in performance

I do have one question about the oil cap... not sure if you may know or not since you have an xB... would you happen to know if the oil cap fits the STOCK engine cover for the tC? I only ask because I found another oil cap that said it did not fit the stock engince cover, only the carbon engine cover.

Since I show my car alot, I really only want a sturt bar for show. So rather or not it makes any changes in handling really doesn't matter much to me. lol

 

Yes, the Oil Cap for your stock TC cover should work. That store specializes is Aftermarket products for stock Scions. The above pic is their Oil Cap in my stock engine and it really shows up well! I will put in a Strut Bar as my last upgrade because I will still waiting to decide on headers, intake. Will be working on the Exterior first with Wheels, Tires, Suspension, and Exhaust. Decisions, Decisions...
The Strut Bar helps to stiffen the chassis between the Strut Towers and more noticable in hard cornering and maneuvering. There is no measureable difference between a $50 and a $100 bar. In fact, you might even get more notice and questions as to where you got that 'TC Bar' as oppose from the more common expensive DC Sports, Hotkiss, Megan and other bars. For less than $100, you may potentially pick up more Show points. The very least, your engine compartment looks a lot nicer!
